This amazing Snake
is carved of a found stone from Cochiti Pueblo by the equally amazing Salvador Romero. This smooth bodied reptile fits perfectly in hand and will only get smoother the more it is handled. You might be tempted to name this creature "Spot" thanks to a dark inclusion in the stone located on the left eye. Carved with its head slightly elevated with an undulating body as if caught mid-stride/slither. Snakes shed their skin which is a great reminder to discard our old and unproductive ways. This little creature measures about 5" long with a body that tapers from 3/4" to 1/4" wide.
