Burt Awelagte's one-of-a-kind carving depicts a stalwart Eagle watching over its pueblo home with inlaid turquoise eyes. The incised pueblo's tiny windows, doors and individual vigas of jet are gorgeous! The devoted eagle and pueblo are carved from one specimen of New Mexico dolomite and measures about 1 3/4" long, 3 3/4" tall, and slightly over 1 1/2" deep, signed by the artist.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary. Please see our resources page for more information on the sanctuary.
