A jovial Bear smiles wide through an incised mouth, while turquoise inlaid eyes show a sweetness. Carved from lapis lazuli by Frankie Poblano Chattin, he attached a truly exquisite offering bundle composed of beads like black coral, turquoise, natural branch red coral, spiny oyster shell, quartz crystal and a faceted Danburite crystal. Said to enhance mental acuity and aide in a positive connection between one's mind and heart, Danburite is a highly vibrational mineral. It was first verified in 1839 by Charles Shepard in Danbury, Connecticut. Nowadays, Danburite is found in other locales around the world.
The matrix portion of this lapis lazuli shows off this approximate 3 1/2" long, 2" wide and 2 1/4" tall bear's backside in an adorable way. Frankie Poblano Chattin comes from the greater Teddy Weahkee (d) family of Zuni artists. His parents are well-known jewelers and carvers Jovanna Poblano and Daniel Chattin.
