Jaycee Nahohai comes from the esteemed Nahohai family of Zuni artists. His father was Randy Nahohai (d), an extraordinary and influential pueblo potter.
Inspired of anthropomorphic creatures seen on petroglyphs, Jaycee's hand-formed and hand-painted, natural clay and mineral paints, pendant necklace is fabulous. The clay pendant shows two wonderful creatures with a sun beaming in the background. The layered way Jaycee painted this pendant makes it so wonderful and dimensional. The clay pendant itself is about 3" long including the three white clay beads, and is 2" wide. Signed by the artist. It's strung on a length of waxed black cotton cord.
