Otter With Goldfish

A sea otter is a weasel-like aquatic mammal that floats on its back. Robert Michael Weahkee's burnished antler otter is in serene repose with a fresh fish catch on its belly. The fish is etched and painted with gold leaf. Each water creature has turquoise inlaid eyes, while the otter has incised whiskers and a cute nose. Wearing a gorgeous amber and citrine bead offering necklace, our otter friend reminds us to find room every day for playful activity. About 5 1/4" long, 1" wide and 1 1/4" tall.
