In Zuni Pueblo tradition the Sunface symbol is one of harmony representing balance in life. Traditionally turquoise stands for Father Sky, coral stands for Mother Earth, while mother-of-pearl shell and jet represent all the elements in balance. Artists like Ola Eriacho use their artistic license with material choice to represent this sacred design. She chose rich jet, cheerful green turquoise and gorgeous red coral where each hand cut stone and coral was set side by side into sterling silver in the difficult stone-to-stone inlay technique. The beautifully-shaped pendant with little silver accents, itself measures approximately 1 3/8" long including bale and 5/8" wide. It comes with a lovely 18" long silver chain. The dangle earrings for pierced ears are roughly 1 1/4" long and 3/8" wide. Signed by the artist. Please click
