Jaycee Nahohai is the son of the late great Zuni Pueblo potter Randy Nahohai. Jaycee's fabulous and plump Owl is hand-coiled with natural clay and hand-painted with natural pigments, including glistening touches of micaceous paint. The black paint is acrylic. The Zuni Pueblo people call the owl “the Night Grandfather” because he does his work at night. About 6 7/8" tall, with a 6" wingspan and 5 7/8" deep. Signed by the artist.
