Pueblo people have been growing corn for at least 4000 years. Corn was remains a main staple. They call corn "the Mother" because of their dependence on the crop and corn's emergence from the primary mother, Earth. Kateri Quandelacy-Sanchez carved this pendant from beautiful green turquoise, celebrating and honoring the connection between all life and Mother Earth. This pendant reminds us to give thanks for that which is provided. About 2" long including handmade sterling silver bale, 5/8" wide. Silver chain sold separately.
