The Zuni Pueblo people call an Owl “the Night Grandfather” because he does his work at night. Highly regarded, these engaging nocturnal birds fascinate. Jayne Quam's fluorite owl is inlaid with nighttime symbols like stars, a crescent moon and other celestial wonders. This mosaic is composed of crushed azurite, turquoise, tijilite, apple coral, shell, rainbow calsilica and onyx. Wide-eyes of inlaid turquoise see it all. About 2" tall, 1 5/8" wide and 1" deep.
