A discerning mother
Bear carved from Petoskey stone and her close-by cub from sodalite make passage to find another den site. Mother bear is inlaid with a nice nighttime mosaic from crushed azurite, tigilite, magnesite, spiny oyster shell, rhyolite, turquoise, coral and violite. Jayne Quam's journeying bear pair measures in the neighborhood of about 2 3/4" long, 1" wide and 1" tall. Mother bear has watchful turquoise eyes.
