An amazing fish pendant, of ceruleite and turquoise, by Brian Yatsattie. The little swimmer hangs from a sterling silver bale to be worn with a great chain or leather cord. The vibrant mix of cerulean blue and turquoise green colors are highlighted by the jet paste black background. The eye catching mosaic stone are overlaid on to a mother of pearl shell base which gives this pendant a reversible feature. The detailed fish carving is continued on the shell base and both sides feature inlaid eyes of shell and jet. This piece measures about 3" long, from bale to pectoral fins, by 3 3/8" across, from mouth to tail. Ceruleite is a rare gemstone that is sometimes found with copper deposits and comes from Chile.
