A discerning mother Bear carved from marble and her close-by cubs make passage to find another den site. The cubs are made from one Picasso marble specimen, a lovely touch. Each fetish has expressive eyes from turquoise, while mother bear is inlaid with an enchanted mosaic from azurite, turquoise, black lip shell, fossilized jasper, shell, serpentine, onyx, cuprite, spiny oyster shell and rhyolite. Jayne Quam's hopeful and journeying bear family together measure about 3 1/2" long, 1 1/4" wide and 1 3/4" tall.
