An amazing petroglyph of a Mountain-lion (puma, panther or cougar) by a member of the ancient Indigenous Hohokam culture was depicted with a long curved tail high up in the air, almost clearing the entire length of the great cat. In our day, Salvador Romero carved a generously-sized mountain lion with its tail up and over the backside much in the same vein as that petroglyph of long ago. He attached a striking point and colorful beads offering bundle to the side of this approximately 9" long, 1 1/4" wide and 3 1/2" tall feline from found stone.
