Harmonious Bear Trio

This good-natured trio of bears has been carved out of serpentine with augite and orange spiny oyster shell by Jayne Quam. The large Bear has a little bear cub bear emerging about halfway down its back.  These two bears have eyes of inlaid turquoise and share a fabulous mosaic of mother of pearl, phosphosiderite, abalone, turquoise, sugilite, crushed azurite, rainbow calsilica, and shell near their tails. The tiny bear located near the adult bear's head is carved from orange spiny oyster shell with eyes of inlaid jet, an is secured by an offering bundle of turquoise and shell beads. The large bear measures about 2 1/2" long and 1" tall. The smaller orange spiny oyster shell bear measures about 1 1/8" long and 5/8" tall.
