Animal: Skunk, Material: Marble
This offering is sold.
The modest little skunk quietly searches the forest floor for his next meal. Skunks often have a negative connotation because of their strong spray, however they are actually a peaceful animal that only uses its spray as self defense, not to harm others. This piece by Calvert Bowannie is carved from black marble, with mother of pearl on his forehead, back and tail. Bright turquoise inlaid eyes give the skunk his focused vision. About 3/4" tall and 1 1/2" long.
