Bryston Bowannie's mother Horse is carved from magnesite, while a tiny foal or colt is hewn from Picasso marble. Eyes are from turquoise inlays. A turned head, lovely mane and tail adorn them. Dimensions of this endearing pairing are approximately 3 1/2" tall, 1 3/8" wide and 2 1/4" tall. Bryston's brother is carver Calvert Bowannie. They are from the Panteah extended family of wonderful Zuni artists.
