As the colder weather sets in, tiny Hummingbirds migrate to warmer places for the winter. When we hear the word migrate, we think of a flock of birds traveling together. But the tough little hummingbird makes this journey solo, quite an amazing feat. A bittersweet farewell, we look forward to their enchanted return in the spring season to open our hearts.
Brandon Phillips' hummingbird is one that warms our soul. It's been sweetly carved from serpentine with augite. Turquoise inlaid eyes and a shell beak are bestowed to this approximate 2 1/2" tall, 3/4" wide and 1 3/4" deep bird.
