Grasslands Badger

By Salvador Romero, Cochiti

Animal: Badger, Material: Found Stone
This offering is sold.
In New Mexico, Badgers tend to live in open grasslands close to woodland areas, where alluvial soil is to be found. Alluvial soil is a fertile, fine-grained soil deposited by water flowing over flood plains or in river beds. It's easy to dig and food sources in these places are readily available. Salvador Romero's handsome badger has been smoothly sculpted from a porous found stone. Measurements are about 5" long, 2" wide and 2" tall.
