Fetish jewelry such as Gabriel Sice's antler Grandmother pendant honors her status. Carved from antler, Grandmother is represented with a shawl over her head and no corn on her body. Intricate etching shows fringed shawl detail and bangs. Eyes are from jet and a red coral inlay designates a mouth. Her shawl is inlaid with many red coral and turquoise pieces, and a colorful necklace is worn from set turquoise and lapis lazuli.
