A glorious piece of bumblebee jasper has been transformed into a nicely-sized Bear
by Brian Yatsattie. Bumblebee jasper comes from the volcano Mount Papandayan in Indonesia. The yellow color of the stone comes from sulfur deposits which makes this carving smell faintly of matches. This stone is said to help nurture a positive attitude and maintain a clear focus, despite any negativities that might come one's way. Jet inlaid eyes concentrate and emit a sweetness. About 4 1/2" long, 3" tall and 1" wide.
