Giraffe Calf

Giraffes are known for their elegant stride and calm, long-lashed expression. In the wild, their eyes are protected from the dusty conditions by luxuriously thick eyelashes. A giraffe's excellent vision and great height helps them see far and wide. Bernie Laselute's giraffe calf is a darling and approximate 1 1/2" tall, 5/8" wide and 1 3/4" long. Pale blue turquoise eyes are inlaid and lovely etching provides a distinctive coat pattern on the Picasso marble.
