Zuni Pueblo artist Rickson Kallestewa is a gentle soul creating animal carvings reflective of his sweet spirit. Creatively sculpted from marble with a fabulously long tail, a Mountain-lion (puma, panther or cougar) holds an offering jar with a little melon seed offering. The jar has etched and colorful designs like a rain cloud element, a Zuni Sunface symbol and a Deer. Clawed paws and darling facial features are etched and filled with jet paste. About 5" long, 2" wide and 3" tall.
