Dinah Gasper's mother, carver Edna Leki (d) used to inlay her animal's eyes and nostrils. So to remember her, Dinah's used vibrant turquoise to inlay the eyes and nostrils of her amazing serpentine Frog. About 1 1/2" long, 1" wide and 1" tall.

Frog (Dakkya) is a sign of water. Water is life. In Zuni Pueblo, frogs often appear on prayer bowls since many of the Zuni prayers and dances ask for water in the form of rain or snow
