This is such a darling bird, carved by Bryson Bobelu from Zuni Pueblo. His mother is jeweler Laurenda Bobelu, who is from the greater Leekya Deyuse (d) family of artists. Bryson's father is Edison Bobelu Sr., who is from the noted Saul Yuselew (d) family. Bryson's brother is carver Edison Bobelu Jr.
Flying over a desert landscape at about 2" long, 1" wide and 1 1/4" tall, Bryson's dolomite feathered friend has turquoise eyes and accent spots. The soft incising brings out a set of nice feathers.
