Glendora Fragua's fabulous abstract and geometric pottery pays tribute to those that are unseen but surround us. The geometric and pueblo-inspired designs are hand painted in a precise and beautiful manner with natural mineral paint plus metallic paint accents. The natural clay piece is hand-coiled and has a tiny pin hole opening at the bottom. Glendora has also incorporated her identifying signature of a corn stalk incised in the bottom of the piece. Glendora is part of the Corn Clan at Jemez Pueblo. The egg shaped piece tapers towards the bottom and measures about 3" tall with a diameter of about 2" at the widest point.
