An electrifying Snake
is carved from covellite, a rare copper sulfide mineral. It has a special iridescence, like metallic blue and sometimes purple colors. It is highly-prized among collectors. Covellite is named after Niccolo Covelli, an Italian mineralogist who first discovered this fascinating material. About 2 1/4" long, 1 5/8" wide and 1/2" tall, by Brian Yatsattie. Snake's shed their skin, renewing themselves. This is their animal medicine of transformation, teaching us that discarding the old way of thinking and embracing the new is important in our lives.
