Early Bird Gets The Worm

This joyful blue bird by Ray Tsalate has risen with the sun and captured the morning's treasure. Carved from high quality variegated lapis with incredible watercolors of blues and greens as well as a generous stripe of gold sparkling pyrite. The wiggly worm is carved of pink coral. Half of the worm is removable for easy shipping and can be made fast with a dot of glue upon arrival. Ray carved the birds beak from gold lip shell and inlaid eyes of warm pen shell. This early morning scene is attached to a lovely serpentine base. About 4 3/4" long, 3 1/2" wide, and 2 1/4" tall.
