This remarkable Eagle pair, carved of antler, was specifically called a "convocation" by Ray Tsalate. The antler eagle pair are situated side by side, one facing up and the other facing down. They each have eyes of gold lip shell, one with pupils of inlaid malachite and one with inlaid turquoise. They are bound together by a gorgeous deep blue lapis point with heishi shell beads and soft sueded leather. Two baby eaglets of sky blue sodalite sit a top and also join with the bundle through a drilled hole. Each eaglet has differing eyes of red coral and turquoise or red coral and lapis. In total this convocation of raptors measures about 3" long, 1 3/8" wide by 1 5/8" tall.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary. Please see our resources page for more information on the sanctuary.
