Where crickets sing happiness and joy are sure to be found. Crickets figure in mythologies from around the world. In many South American tribes, the chirping of crickets is considered to bring good luck, Cheyenne hunters believed that crickets could predict the movements of the buffalo herds, and in Southeastern tribes such as the Cherokee, cricket legends sometimes depict them as plucky animals who succeed at things despite their small size. Kevin Chapman's cool cricket of jet is about 2" long, 1" wide, and 1" tall, with eyes of inlaid turquoise. We're admiring this plucky little friend.
