By Ray Tsalate

This offering is sold.
We are proud to present another gorgeous necklace is by Ray Tsalate. A master carver who largely works with antler but uses other colorful and unusual materials to really make his pieces sing. This beautifully carved antler corn spirit is accented with inlaid pieces of turquoise, red coral, pink coral, malachite, lapis, purple spiny oyster and mint green Afghan travertine. This corn spirit has eyes of soft brown pen shell with a red coral mouth. Polished to a glassy finish and topped with a gold lip mother of pearl shell feather, the center piece measures about 3 3/8" long by 5/8" wide. Ray continued his use of unusual materials through out the necklace by stringing sky blue Peruvian opals beads with deep blue lapis beads and rods. The necklace measures about 32" in total and hangs nearly 17" from the back of neck to the tip of the corn piece and uses a sterling silver screw fashion closure.
