Jared Amesoli comes from the greater Laate family of Zuni artists. His brother was carver Yancy Robert Halusewa (d) and his sister is Adrianna Halusewa.

At about 3 1/2" tall, 2" wide and 3/4" deep, Jared's corn-maidens unite with Zuni Sunface symbols which represent the elements in balance, in this fabulous antler carving. The corn maiden's bodies are incised and inlaid with tidbits of turquoise, red coral, malachite, lapis and variscite. Their sweet faces are inlaid with turquoise.
