A
corn grinding maiden prepares corn for the doings, carved of antler by Claudia Peina. The traditional whorls of hair are incised and inlaid with turquoise accents. A red coral and turquoise disc necklace adorns her. Jet inlaid eyes and a red coral mouth are added. Claudia also burnt out her shawl for a lovely effect. About 2 1/4" tall, 7/8" wide and 3/4" deep.
