Happy acrylic colors adorn Jaren Cachini's cottonwood Corn Dancer katsina. Corn is an important and sacred crop so many pueblo cultures give Corn Dances. Jaren's amazing katsina is flat-backed with a soft cotton string to be hung on a wall like in many Native homes. It will not stand without support. Dimensions of this collectible katsina are approximately 15" long, 7" wide and 3" deep. Other adornments include feathers and soft cotton yarn. A lovely painted rain cloud element decorates the reverse side. Signed by the artist.
