An Eagle offering bowl, carved by the talented hands of Salvador Romero, here to carry your offerings high into the sky. Salvador uses stones he finds on the land surrounding his home in the Cochiti Pueblo. He sees the creature in the stone and then, using minimal cuts and shaping, brings the creature to the surface. The stone is smooth to the touch but unpolished, retaining its found stone characteristics. This offering bowl can be filled with cornmeal of any other favorite offering, measuring about 7 1/2" long 2 1/2" wide by 2" tall. The indented bowl area on the back of the eagle measures about 1 3/4" long, 1" wide by about 1/4" deep.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this eagle fetish will go to the Zuni Eagle Sanctuary. Please see our resources page for more information on the sanctuary.
