Cheetah Cub

Beautiful cheetahs are the swiftest land mammal with very long legs, non-retractile claws and a black-spotted light-brown coat. Incredibly, they are able to reach speeds of about 75 mph in seconds. They are in a race for their lives, vulnerable due to habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict and the illegal wildlife trade. Armond Sandoval's adorable cheetah cub is carved from Mexican serpentine with hematite spots. Adorable eyes are from marble inlays. About 2" long, 1 3/8" wide and 1 3/8" tall.
