Carved in intricate detail from its prehensile tail, curled in a resting position, its leaf grabbing hands, and independently swiveling eyes all covered in finely incised scales. In the 1980's the Cheama family started carving in a highly realistic style. Fabian Cheama's ability to carve with both delicacy and life is evident in this small tropical reptile. We love the open carving work between the Lizard and the leaf. The eyes are inlaid red coral. About 1 7/8" tall and 7/8" wide.
