Carnelian, Amazonite, Aventurine & Abalone Bird Pendant Necklace

By Jovanna Poblano

This offering is sold.
Bold energy and warmth ooze from lusciously faceted carnelian beads that are visually stunning, as are the many amazonite, aventurine, abalone and turquoise beads Jovanna Poblano strung on a double stand bird pendant necklace. Intricately hand-done beadwork of glistening glass seed beads borders a carved abalone bird that has a turquoise eye, plus a carnelian cabochon and a turquoise inlay. Dancing fringe dangles are composed of the same decadent stones and shells. Including the hand-stamped sterling silver bale fixture and gorgeous fringe dangles, the feathered friend pendant is about 3 1/2" wide and 4" long. The necklace is about 19" long and is finished with a silver lobster clasp closure. Backed by soft leather, this pendant necklace has been signed by Jovanna Poblano who descends from the greater Teddy Weahkee (d) family of carvers. Jovanna's grandfather was iconic Zuni carver Leo Poblano (d).
