Master jeweler Franklin Carrillo's sensational and labor intensive link bracelet is inspired by and named for "Canyon de Chelly" in Arizona. Each dynamic square station tells a beautiful story of the incredible mesas, spires, cliffs, caves and canyons that exist there.
Choice pieces of turquoise, alunite, lapis, sugilite, red coral, spiny oyster shell, fossilized ivory, gold lip shell, jet and denim lapis are all hand-cut and set into intricately detailed sterling silver housings. Some of the stones are set flush to the surface while others are cobbled and rise above. The hand-made hinges and reticulated silver box clasp are amazing.
Measuring about 7 3/8", long with the clasp, with each 1" wide square station individually hinged for ease of movement. The bracelet is about 1/4" tall/thick, measured laying flat from the tallest cobbled stone. Signed by the artist.
