Pete Gasper Jr. is from the greater Teddy Weahkee (d) family of amazing Zuni artists. His parents are noted carvers Dinah Gasper and Peter Gasper Sr.
Pete has chosen chrysocolla, a lively copper mineral in the turquoise family, to carve this tidy and lovable Bear, about 1 7/8" long, 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall. It has red coral inlaid eyes and a vibrant orange spiny oyster shell point offering bundle.
