Many Indigenous cultures have always known that Coyotes and Badgers hunt cooperatively, combining their skills to find nourishment. For years though, many wildlife biologists said that they were just competing for game. Nowadays they are acknowledging the truths of Indigenous science that focus on the reciprocal relationships and responsibilities to the natural world. Jonas Hustito's wonderful turquoise-eyed badger has been carved from Picasso marble. Dimensions are roughly 2 1/2" long, 1" wide and 5/8" tall.
