Maxx Laate's brilliant imagination brings to life this underwater scene carved from antler. A shark and an octopus go round and round but it's not clear who is chasing who. The details of the creatures are carved away from the antler to reveal their shapes while natural brown texture of the untouched antler adds another layer of character. The shark sports dark inlaid eyes of jet and together the pair measure about 2 1/4" tall, 1 3/4" wide by 1 1/2" deep.
