A sitting and upright black Bear is carved of well-polished marble by Christopher Sandoval. Its eyes are of inlaid turquoise, plus it has incised paw and claw details. Bear (Anshe) was the principal animal for the Pueblo People and they are the most prevalent subject of Zuni fetishes. About 2" tall, 1 1/2" wide and 1 1/2" deep.
