A Chaco Frog Of Jet & Turquoise

By Emery Boone

This offering is sold.

Chaco Canyon in New Mexico is the site of an ancient Anasazi ruin called Pueblo Bonito where a Frog similar to this one was discovered. Emery Boone was inspired by that amphibian of old, dating back to 900 AD. He used jet and turquoise in his rendition of that great frog. Beady eyes of inlaid turquoise complete this wonderful fetish that's about 1 1/2" long, 1 1/8" wide and 1/4" tall.

Emery Boone descends from the Andrew Emerson Quam and Bossie Quam family of Zuni artists.
