Zuni Pueblo women are known for skillful movement while balancing painted pottery jars on their heads. Jeff's depiction of this traditional and graceful movement is in Picasso marble, rich with brown, grey and black colored variations.
As with every work of Jeff's, he's always mindful of detail and intricacy. We love her turquoise jewelry, her fine hands, her finely incised hair and the life-like detail of her clothing.
This sculptural work of art stands 4 3/4" tall, 2 1/4" long and 1 7/8" deep at base. Signed #1 of #1.
