Zuni Travertine Maiden

Gayla Eriacho's Zuni Maidens are some of the sweetest around. Sculped from local Zuni travertine, Maiden Grandmother has traditionally-styled whorled hair and wears a shawl, signifying she hasn't had children but has mothered many. Facial features are from inlaid jet and rich pipestone. An elegantly carved turquoise necklace and turquoise inlays adorn this approximately 1 7/8" tall, 1" wide and 5/8" deep wonderful carving.
