Indigenous stones and minerals gathered at locations in Zuni Pueblo are not only gorgeous but they have a special feeling to them. Carved from a found Zuni Ojo azurite, Cameron Kalestewa's foraging roadrunner with focused eyes from turquoise inlays, displays natural patches of stunning blue azurite. We love how he secured an offering bundle of gratitude to the base of this approximately 6 1/2" long, roughly 1 1/4" wide and 3" tall crested desert bird. Choice beads like garnet and shell are some of them. Because the carving rocks a little bit it is not suitable for an unstable surface or shelf.
