Kateri Quandelacy Sanchez's gorgeous carving honors the important role of the wise elder, Grandmother. Sculpted from iridescent black lip shell, you can feel the movement of her fringed shawl that's etched with star and Dragonfly designs. Facial features are incised on gold lip shell. Red coral and green turquoise cabochons adorn as well. About 2 1/2" tall, 2 1/4" wide and 5/8" deep.
