Eagle (or
Hawk, who for the A:Shiwi (Zuni) is considered the little brother to eagle) learns to hunt and explore the vastness of Father Sky before winter sets in. Smoothly carved from rich red onyx, dimensions of this turquoise-eyed raptor are about 2 1/8" long, 1/2" wide and 7/8" tall. A miniature offering necklace contains colorful lapis, mother-of-pearl, black tourmaline and turquoise beads.
