Wolverine Friend

Recent wolverine sightings have excited many because loss of habitat due to climate change, deforestation, mining and hunting are the main reasons wolverines are a threatened species. Thankfully a few have been spotted in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains, the Inyo National Forest and in Yosemite National Park. They use their large and furry feet like snowshoes, to walk on snow without sinking. These private animals are tough and fierce, important to the eco-systems they live in. Rickson Kallestewa's collectible Picasso marble wolverine has etched eyes and claws filled with jet paste. It has a sweetly turned paw. Measurements of this wonderful fetish are about 3" long, 1" wide and 1 1/2" tall. A mother-of-pearl point offering bundle is attached.
