Quail are surprisingly hardy birds who can survive the winter season with good shelter. They eat a lot of nourishing grains and seeds to carry them through. Quail spend much time foraging close to the ground so they have a deep connection with Mother Earth. Fabian Tsethlikai's turquoise-eyed feathered friend with high top-knot is sculpted from dolomite. He carves wonderful quail friends. About 1 3/8" long, 1/2" wide and 1 3/8" tall.
